Die Umwelt und ich: A middle school German unit superpower participants will examine the crosswalkDeveloped by the Kinder lernen Deutsch Writing Team, die Umwelt und ich is a thematic unit for novice learners at the middle school level (can also be used for high school students!). The material encourages students to consider how people can affect the environment both positively and negatively. Three parts of the unit explore what students know about the environment, problems in the environment, and steps that can be taken to solve those problems.
